Her work focuses on physical theatre in site-specific spaces, devising new projects, adapting and reviving classic work and collaborating with artists in all mediums to create visceral, innovative performances.

Her work has taken her across the globe from her home base in Missouri with the True/False Film Festival to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland and beyond. She travels internationally teaching masterclasses for the Physical Actor.

She has written and developed several original plays and adaptations, including Dark Creation- The Mary Shelley Project with Emily Adams and her sister company, GreenHouse UK in England. She holds a degree in Theatre from St. Olaf College.

Emily studied Theatre and English Literature at the University of Wales before touring nationally across the UK. She has since worked with numerous theatre companies as both actor and director including Riding Lights (York), Chickenshed (London) The Contact Theatre (Manchester) and Claybody Theatre (Stoke-On-Trent).

In 2010, Emily moved to the US where she performed with the St Louis Shakespeare Company and Independent Actors before co-founding site-specific theatre company, GreenHouse Theatre Project. During this time, Emily performed, directed and wrote for the company including performances of The Three Sisters, Macbeth, Tartuffe, Romeo and Juliet and an original version of The Nutcracker.

Emily has now moved back to her home country in the UK where GreenHouse Theatre Project UK are the current artist's in residence for the award winning, New Vic Theatre. Greehouse UK produced their first site-specific production Dark Side of the Moon (The Mary Shelley Project) in a disused Chapel to sell out audiences and have just secured successful Arts Council Funding for their next production, 'Good Night Out' in an empty Victorian Town Hall.
