GreenHouse Theatre Project Season 6

REBIRTH: <an exploration of god, (womb)an, and myth>

Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett

February 15-19, 7:30pm
@ Orr Street Studios

GTP is taking on one of the most important and enigmatic plays of all time. This existential masterpiece places us into a world where time, place and memory are blurred, and meaning is where you find it.

Featuring: Jonathan Mercer-Buell, Ian Matthew Sobule, Jason Stanley, Mark Wax and scenic creations by artist Michael Marcum. Directed by Elizabeth Braaten Palmieri.

Dark Creation, the Mary Shelley project by Elizabeth Braaten Palmieri & Emily Adams

May 3-7, 8pm
@ Muse Clothing

Mary Shelley was 21 when she published her Gothic novel, Frankenstein. In our most experimental piece to date, co-founders, Elizabeth Braaten Palmieri and Emily Adams create a world where the real is surreal and the conscious unconscious in this dark piece that delves into the mind of the first female horror writer of our time.

Directed by Elizabeth Braaten Palmieri with original music by Tim Pilcher.

Peer Gynt by Henrik Ibsen

June 21-25, 7:30 pm (grounds open at 6:30)
@Fretboard Coffee/Artlandish Amphitheater

Originally a poem, Peer Gynt chronicles the journey of its titular character from the Norwegian mountains to the North African desert. GTP will perform its own adaptation of this larger than life adventure in the outdoors, under the stars with original music to accompany the blending of folkloric fantasy and unsentimental realism. Bring the family (and a lawn chair), enjoy a cold brew from Fretboard Coffee and join the fun!

Directed by Matt Saltzberg and Elizabeth Braaten Palmieri.
