Welcome to GTP’s production of

LUNGS

LUNGS was originally on the GTP schedule for the summer of 2020, but we all know what happened… We tried again for the summer of 2021, but the actors’ schedules didn’t align. Finally, Anna and Rob arrived in Columbia a month ago, we got to work, had lots of discussions, drank many bottles of rosé, and fell deeper and deeper in love with this text. Now, here we are.

This play is timely and especially hits home for me as I recently gave birth to my second child. I want to thank the cast, the crew, and my family from the bottom of my heart for their patience and understanding in making this transition back into the rehearsal room as smooth as it has been. It takes a village, and I am grateful to be living and making art in this one.

Thank you for supporting the work we do! Please enjoy the show.
